In collaboration with Chestnut Housing and Bridge of Hope, SEEDS is hosting a fundraising event for a project we are working on in Bridgeport to provide new affordable housing serving families and individuals in the Conestoga Valley School District.
Together these 3 organizations, and members of Forest Hills Mennonite Church, are working to create 13 new affordable apartments on Lincoln Highway for families and individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
The project is currently in land development, and we expect to have all necessary approvals to proceed to construction in the second quarter of 2027. Meanwhile, to date over 55% of the $3.2 million project budget has been raised -- all through local philanthropy from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
