Michelle is a CV resident. She's married to Joel (who works at Agriteer, a Leola based business) and has 4 children, 2 daughters-in-law, and 3 grandchildren. Michelle had a focus in Intercultural Studies in college which has been utilized in her previous work co-founding a social enterprise that created jobs for survivors of trafficking in Cambodia and her job as the Director of Employee Care for the refugee women employed at Stroopies (a local company who hires resettled refugee women). In her spare time, you can find Michelle in a local greenhouse, reading a book, drinking coffee, and spending time with her friends and family. Those who know Michelle will tell you about her huge heart for others, her desire to seek justice and mercy and advocate for those in need, and her passion to be a life-long learner. Michelle is excited to continue to grow and learn about her community, to walk alongside her neighbors and be a part of creating new opportunities for those in Conestoga Valley.

Kristen is a CV resident and alumni. She's married to Brandon (a CV High School teacher) and mom to Mya. She has her degree in Elementary Education and has utilized that in previous jobs working in preschools and starting and running a dance studio out of her home. Along with her job at SEEDS, she also works part-time as an Office Manager for a local photographer. In her spare time, you can find Kristen at the beach, thrift shopping, using her thrifted finds to style her home, grabbing an iced coffee with a friend, or working with flowers in her garden. Those who know Kristen will tell you about her laugh & her kindness. They'll talk about her heart to reach out to others, ability to make everyone feel welcome, and her gift of creativity. Kristen is excited to serve with SEEDS, partner with local businesses, and walk alongside CV residents and families to make our community even better.
Mirah Eldeen, Adult Advocate
Mirah has spent most of her life in the Philippines and has been a resident of Lancaster since moving to the US. She has a degree in Social Work and Women's Ministry and has spent time working closely with teens and young adults in residential settings.
In her spare time, you’ll find her outdoors enjoying nature, creating art in different forms, or connecting deeply with friends over good conversation. She loves good coffee and enjoys learning new dishes and recipes. Those who know her will tell you about her creativity, her heart for people, and her passion for building meaningful relationships. She’s excited to keep investing in people's lives and growing a strong, supportive community wherever she goes.
